BECAUSE EVERY MUM NEEDS A VILLAGE

The Home-Ed Collective

You’re carrying a lot. The home. The meals. The appointments. The emotions. The work. The mental load.
And now you’re carrying your child’s learning, too.

No roadmap. No one-size-fits-all plan. No quick reassurance when you’re panicking at 1am wondering if you’re doing enough.

Just you, trying your best. Every. Single. Day. And you’re doing it!

But what if this didn’t have to be a solo journey?

This is the village you’ve been looking for.

The Community

Your Home Ed Tribe

A private space for home educating mums and parents who actually get it…because they’re living it.

Somewhere to say the thing you don’t want to admit out loud.

Somewhere to ask if you’re doing enough, without being judged.

Somewhere to talk about LA emails, SEND worries, midnight resource spirals, money stress, dysregulated days, and the pressure of being the whole village on your own.

And it’s not just online.

The Home Ed Collective has regional groups to help you find home ed families near you.

Meet for coffee.
Plan park days.
Visit museums.

Build your local village, not just a virtual one.

Your Home Ed Toolkit

As a home educating mum of two, I know you don’t need more advice on how to do home-ed, you need practical support that actually works for you and your family.

You need something you can actually use when it’s 11pm, you’re overthinking everything, and tomorrow still needs some kind of plan.

Not another Pinterest perfect timetable.
Not a generic school-style curriculum.
Not a pile of worksheets that don’t fit your child’s style of learning.

But this…

📘 A calmer start: Deschooling guidance to help you settle in without feeling like you have to recreate school at home.

Rhythms that actually fit real life: Simple ways to shape your days around your child, your energy, your work, your home and your capacity.

❤️ Support for reluctant or dysregulated learners: Gentle ideas to help your child reconnect with learning, especially if school knocked their confidence.

📚 Interest-led planning that still feels purposeful: So you can follow your child’s curiosity without panicking that you’re “not doing enough.”

📝 Progress you can actually see: Practical support for noticing learning, keeping simple records and writing Local Authority reports without spiralling.

🤝 Help building your home ed tribe: Because resources help, but people keep you going.

A Note from Natalie

I built The Home Ed Collective because I know what it’s like to love home education and still feel overwhelmed.

I know how easy it is to pour everything into your children and forget your own needs.

But we were never meant to do this alone.

We need a village.
We need connection.
We need space to breathe.

We need people who understand the wobbly days as well as the wins. And we need it without judgement.

And here’s the thing, when we feel supported, our kids feel supported, too.

After 15 years in education, working with children from all walks of life and designing learning for public, private and online schools, I know what helps children learn, grow and thrive. And I want to share what I know with you all.

My passion is human-centred education: learning built around the child, not the system.

The Home Ed Collective is where I bring that experience together with real-life home support, so you can feel less alone, more supported and confident in the journey. I can’t wait to see you there!
