Hello, my name’s Natalie, and I’m a fully qualified secondary English teacher with over 15 years of experience in education.

I specialise in online English tutoring for KS2 through to A-level, covering English Literature, English Language, Reading, Writing, and Creative Writing. But my support goes beyond academics — I also offer personal development mentoring and social studies tuition, helping young people grow in confidence and develop the skills they need for life.

What I Offer

English Tutoring (KS2–KS5)

I provide online tutoring in English Literature, English Language, Reading, Writing, and Creative Writing. From KS2 through to GCSE and A-level, I help learners with exam preparation, coursework, and building strong literacy skills. Do you offer GCSE and A-level English tuition?

Yes – I specialise in KS3, GCSE, and A-level English tutoring, including Literature, Language, and Creative Writing.

How much does tuition cost?

Fees range from £25–£55 per session, depending on level (A-level tuition is higher than KS2/KS3). All initial discovery calls last for 60 minutes and cost £25.00.

Do you have a DBS check and safeguarding training?

Yes, I hold a fully enhanced DBS and safeguarding training, which I am happy to share with any parent.

Are you qualified?

Yes – I hold a PGCE in Secondary English with QTS from the University of Manchester, a BA (Hons) in English with Creative Writing from the University of Salford, and an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester. I also have over 15 years experience in education in various roles, from teaching to head of departments, curriculum designer to leadership.

Do you have experience teaching SEND or children with additional needs?

Yes – while this is not my specialist field, I have supported many learners with diverse needs. My goal is always to accommodate and empower every child.

How long have you been teaching?

I have over 15 years’ experience in education, plus several years in learning design and leadership.

How do I book and pay?

Select a time slot via my booking calendar and pay securely through Stripe for your child’s initial consultation session.

What happens during the first session?

The first session is a relaxed consultation where I get to know your child, carry out informal assessments, and plan how I can best support them.

What happens after the first session?

If tutoring is the right fit, we’ll agree on regular times/days. Payment is made in blocks of six sessions to ensure consistency and commitment.

What if my child is sick or can’t attend?

Sessions can be rescheduled with 7 days’ notice. In cases of illness, bereavement, or emergency where notice isn’t possible, lessons can be rearranged with evidence provided. Refunds are not available outside of this cancellation policy.
